Hello and a heartfelt welcome to the Kuenzerhof in Braies.

Roughly where the paths to Lago di Braies and Prato Piazza split – in the heart of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park – a very special place awaits you.

We, Monika and Stephan, run the holiday apartments in Braies. Two people who know how to welcome guests without making a fuss. With calmness, openness and a feel for what’s needed in the moment.

For families with children, the Kuenzerhof is a little adventure world: animals in the barn, space to play and nature right on your doorstep. No traffic noise, no time pressure – but plenty of time outside.

Our apartments: new, bright, close to nature

A holiday in our apartments in Braies is more than just an accommodation – it’s a bit like being at home.

Whether with family, as a couple or with friends: they offer lots of space, natural materials and everything you need for your farm holiday in the Val Pusteria. All come with a balcony or terrace – and always a view of what really matters.

By the way: much of the furniture in the apartments was made using solid reclaimed wood from our old barn, giving them a unique atmosphere.

Holiday information

Check-in, check-out:

  • Your apartment will be ready for you from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival
  • On the day of departure, please vacate the apartment by 9:30 am
  • If you plan to arrive after 6:00 pm, please let us know by phone

Pets:

As much as we love animals – our apartments are pet-free to ensure that all guests, including those with allergies, feel completely at ease.

Smoking:

Please smoke only outside – the fresh mountain air makes it more enjoyable anyway.

Protecting the wooden floors:

To help preserve our beautiful wooden floors, we kindly ask you to wear slippers in the apartments. We’ll be happy to provide them if needed.

Holiday cancellation insurance:
Unexpected events can always happen. In this case, we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Cancellation conditions
If you cancel within 15 days of the scheduled start date, we will retain the 30% deposit of the agreed price.
For cancellations between 14 and 3 days before the start date, 50% of the agreed price will be due, and from 2 days before the start date, 100% of the agreed price will be due.

Price information
  • The listed prices are per apartment, per night, based on the stated minimum occupancy (2 or 4 people) For each additional guest, we charge €20.00 per night
  • Child discounts:
    up to 3 years: free
    up to 10 years: low season € 10.00 / high season € 20.00 per day
  • The local tourist tax is not included in the price and amounts to €2.50 per night and person aged 14 and over, payable on site.
  • For the final cleaning of the apartment after your stay we charge € 50.00

Simple living, simply good food.

What ends up on the table at the Kuenzerhof hasn’t travelled far: from the barn, the garden, the meadow. The milk is fresh, the eggs come straight from the hen-house, and the honey tells of the flowers blooming just a few steps from the house.

At breakfast, if you like, we’ll bring you a basket – filled with bread from the bakery, milk, eggs, spreads, cold cuts and cheese from the valley. Some of it comes from the local butcher, some straight from the farm. Just order your breakfast basket the evening before and start your holiday morning in Braies with a treat.

If you only want fresh bread, simply use our bread roll service. Milk and eggs from our animals are also available directly from us. That’s how easy and stress-free a tasty start to the day can be.

A farm for young and grown-up explorers

Families with children will find just what they need for a relaxing holiday at the Kuenzerhof: space to play, quiet corners to retreat to, and plenty of small adventures – indoors and out, in any weather.

Inside, there’s a dedicated playroom and a cosy lounge with board games and books for all ages. Outside, a playground with swings, sand and everything that makes children’s hearts leap – while grown-ups can relax on the bench nearby and simply do nothing for a moment.

In winter, you’re just five minutes by car from the small, charming family ski area of Braies. And for those who fancy even more outdoor activity in summer, the Motor Skills Park in Villabassa is well worth a visit – fun for everyone.

If you love being outside, you’ll find countless paths around the Kuenzerhof – no matter the season. Some start right on our doorstep, others are just a few minutes away by car or bus.
